Deterministic Substrate Architecture
BaseLayerOS is a deterministic execution substrate designed for regulated AI systems, finance, healthcare, and enterprise automation. It enforces governance physics, invariant checks, and deterministic replay on all validated envelopes produced by partner governance engines such as May I AI.
Core Components
The substrate is composed of several deterministic modules:
Governance Engine Integration
BaseLayerOS does not embed a governance brain. Instead, it accepts envelopes from external governance engines—such as May I AI—as long as they conform to the Kali Standard Envelope Schema. This ensures governance remains modular and swappable while the substrate remains invariant.
Kali Standard Envelope Schema
The schema defines identity, capability, policy, invariants, constraints, and execution plans. BaseLayerOS validates envelopes deterministically before executing or refusing them.
Deterministic Replay
Every validated envelope produces a replayable execution trace. This allows regulators, auditors, and hyperscaler reviewers to verify behavior with full determinism.
