This Refund Policy applies to BaseLayerOS enterprise packs, deterministic substrate offerings, and any related digital deliverables provided by FortressCodeAI. Because these offerings involve digital goods, governance integrations, and deterministic substrate provisioning, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions below.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be granted only if all of the following conditions are met:

• No BaseLayerOS substrate has been provisioned for your organization.
• No deterministic kernel, rulebook, or invariant modules have been activated.
• No Kali‑standard governance envelopes have been integrated or tested.
• No enterprise pack materials (documentation, workflows, cockpit integrations) have been accessed or downloaded.
• No onboarding, consultation, or integration work has begun.

2. Non‑Refundable Items

Due to the nature of deterministic substrate provisioning and enterprise governance integration, the following items are non‑refundable:

• Activated BaseLayerOS substrate instances.
• Provisioned rulebook, invariant, or kernel modules.
• Any enterprise pack after access has been granted.
• Custom governance adapters or integration work.
• Sector‑specific packs (Finance, Healthcare, AI Safety) once delivered.
• Consultation, onboarding, or architectural review sessions.

3. Refund Request Process

• Organization name
• Primary contact
• Purchase reference or invoice number
• Confirmation that none of the non‑refundable conditions apply

Refund requests are reviewed manually. Approval is not guaranteed and depends on the status of provisioning, access, and integration work.

4. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise required by enterprise procurement rules.

5. Enterprise Procurement Considerations

For regulated industries or organizations with strict procurement frameworks, refund terms may be governed by contractual agreements established during onboarding. In such cases, the contract supersedes this policy.
