Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BaseLayerOS, the deterministic execution substrate developed by FortressCodeAI, and any enterprise packs, documentation, or integration materials provided through this website. By accessing or using BaseLayerOS or any related enterprise offerings, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

2. Scope of Service

FortressCodeAI provides BaseLayerOS and enterprise packs for deterministic execution, governance envelope validation, and regulated‑industry workflows. BaseLayerOS does not provide governance decisions; it enforces deterministic physics on envelopes produced by partner governance engines.

3. External Governance Engines

BaseLayerOS accepts envelopes from external governance engines as long as they conform to the Kali Standard Envelope Schema. FortressCodeAI does not control or guarantee the behavior, correctness, or outputs of any external governance engine, including May I AI.

4. Enterprise Use & Compliance

Enterprise Packs are designed for regulated industries but do not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. Organizations remain responsible for ensuring their use of BaseLayerOS aligns with applicable laws, sector regulations, and internal policies.

5. Deterministic Execution Guarantees

BaseLayerOS provides deterministic state transitions, invariant enforcement, and replayable execution traces. Determinism applies only to validated envelopes and does not extend to external governance engines, AI models, or third‑party systems.

6. Pricing & Procurement

Pricing displayed in the Enterprise Marketplace is indicative and may vary based on deployment scope, integration complexity, sector requirements, and procurement processes. Final terms are established during enterprise onboarding.

7. Intellectual Property

BaseLayerOS, its rulebook, invariant system, documentation, and enterprise packs are the intellectual property of FortressCodeAI. External governance engines retain ownership of their respective systems, policies, and envelope generation logic.

8. Limitation of Liability

FortressCodeAI is not liable for decisions, outputs, or actions taken by external governance engines, AI models, or downstream systems. Deterministic execution applies only within the substrate and only to validated envelopes.

9. Modifications

FortressCodeAI may update these Terms to reflect changes in substrate capabilities, governance integrations, or enterprise offerings. Continued use of BaseLayerOS constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
